Aldermen Ranger, Keryluk and Mabbett voted in favour of the resolution. Further discussion ensued on the necessity of air-conditioning for the new structure and the City Engineer advised that should Council decide at a later date to delete same, a Change Order could be issued at that time. The Contractor will be advised that this subject is still under discussion and will be brought before Council at the next full meeting of Council. During discussion on the abovenoted resolution, Alderman Mabbett requested that the City Clerk clarify the term "dry household refuse" which appears in the draft By-law. Alderman Laking noted that he was presently preparing a report to Council regarding the 'chipper' machines mentioned at the last Council meeting and their possible use in the City in land clearing projects.
