It is my, understanding that the Lacrosse Box located on Wilson Avenue and Mary
Hill Road is scheduled for replacement in the future and that this property
may be available for an alternative use.

‘T would ask that Council consider that a tentative reserve be placed on this site
for use as a future library complex for the City of Port Coquitlam. I have asked
the Planning and Zoning Committee to refer this matter to the Planning Consultant
for his comments... It would appear that this is one of the few sites available
in the downtown for such a facility and I would ask that Council consider a tenta-
tive reserve for this purpose. This wouid be similar to that recently considered
by Council for the Sewage Lagoon site which was set aside for possible future
recreation use. _
