League Basketball action Tuesday night at Skeena Secondary School, All Seasons Sporting Goods defeated Kluss & Sons 83-70 in the opening game, and Skeena Hotel overcame. a 6 point halftime deficit to cop an 87-75 win over Ev's Clippers. Kluss & Sons enjoyed an excellent first half over Ali Seasons, and enjoyed a ai lead at the end of it, All Seasons found their form in the second half, however, and wasted little time in gaining the lead. The two teams were tled at 40 points apiece at one point, then All Seasons began to dominate. By the time the final buzzer. through sounded, All Seasons was in front by a comfortable 83-70 margin, giving them the victory. Doug McKay led the All , Seasons atlack with 2 points, while Tom Marvin contributed 20 to the cause. Willie Chemko netted 28 points for Kluss & Sons, while Bob Sheridan had 18, Skeena Hotel and Ev’s Clippera were fairly close out most of the first half in the second game, but Ev’s put on a bit of a spurt towards the end, and held a 30-33 halftime lead, Skeena Hotel came on strong in the second half, though, even- tually took a 51-50 lead, and never looked back after that. When the smoke finally cleared, Skeena Hotel had played to an 67-75 win. Jon Gurban was the. leading scorer for Skeena Hotel with 36 points, while Willle Harvey potted 17.
