Originaire de Lyon, France, Boris Favre
a une bonne réputation de bassiste,
pianiste et compositeur. Ses oeuvres
ont été interprétées par le Boris Favre
Collective ainsi que par Mad Pudding,
ce dernier étant un groupe de
musique celtique connu
internationalement dont Boris est
membre-artiste permanent. Boris a
participé a de nombreux festivals de
musique traditionnelle a travers le
Canada, les Etats-Unis et en Europe.
Boris détient un Baccalauréat en
musique de |'Université de la
Colombie-Britannique ainsi qu'un
dipléme A.R.C.T. du Conservatoire de
Toronto.

Boris Favre is an accomplished
bassist, pianist and composer. His
original compositions have been
featured prominently on CBC and
BBC radio & television, performed by
the Boris Favre Collective and Mad
Pudding. He is currently a permanent
member of Mad Pudding, an
internationally acclaimed Canadian
Celtic band which has performed in
major folk music festivals throughout
Canada, the United States and
Europe. Boris’ formal background
includes a Bachelor's Degree in music
from the University of British
Columbia and an Association
Diploma (A.R.C.T.) in piano
performance from the Royal
Conservatory of music in Toronto.
