Sharon Crooks has requested that no parking signs be posted at the crosswalk
on Citadel and Kensington. The existing Traffic Regulation Bylaw testricts
parking on the approach side of the crosswalk for a distance of six metres.
The difficulty of placing no parking signs or painting the curbs yellow for
tne approach to the crosswalk is that the same request could then be made for
all the other crosswalks in Port Coquitlam and possibly hydrant and stop signs
where parking restrictions apply under the Traffic Regulations Bylaw.
