A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of the Corporation of The City
of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hail,
2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, July 23, 1990,
at 7:30 p.n.

His Worship Acting Mayor M.C. Faraworth, Aldermen M.D. Gates,
J.J. Keryluk, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright, in attendance.

Also in attendance were City Clerk/Deputy Administrator R.A. Freeman, City

Engineer I. Zahynacz, Parks and Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Director of
Community Planning C.R. Felip and Secretarial Assistant 5S. Rauh.

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES:

Moved by Alderman Stewart:
Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on
July 9th, 1990 be taken as read and adopted.

Carried.

BYLAWS:

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That third reading of Bylaw No. 2509 be deferred until the Council
of August 13th, 1990.

Carried.

Moved by Alderman Keryluk:
Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That Bylaw No. 2512 be read a third time.
Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution:

Moved by Alderman Wright:

That third reading of Bylaw No. 2512 be deferred until the Council meeting
of August 13th, 1990.

That Bylaw No. 2512 be amended as recommended by the Director of Community
Planning at the Public Hearing held earlier this evening and read a third
time, as amended.
