That the R.C.M.P. be requested to provide more traffic regulation
enforcement in the 3000 Block York Street to deter the speeding of

vehicles and illegal parking.

That "No Parking at Any Timet signs be installed on the East side
of York Street from Coquitlam Avenue to Manning Avenue,

That approximately $3,000 of the 1983 Una! located Capital Funds be
used to modify the ditch and culverts south of 3051/53 York Street to
Permit positive flow in the ditch. a

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Laking suggested that the resolution be amended to prohibit
parking on either side of York Street. ,

That recommendation No. 2 in the Act ing-City Engineer's August
18th, 1983 report be amended to read "That 'No Parking at Any
Time! signs be instalied on both Sides of York Street from
Coquitlam Avenue to Manning Avenue",
