THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PoRT Coqu BY-LAW NO. 1564 T 3 1977 A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of port (Ghuseide to dispose of portions of road shown dedicated on registered plans 2294 and 35033 in District Lot 466, Group 1, New Westminster District in exchange for sufficient land to relocate the said portions of road. WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling portions 6f road shown dedicated ‘on registered plans 2294 and 35033 in District Lot 466, Group 1, New Westminster District in The City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the portions of road to be cancelled, AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised ‘Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, re-locating or diverting the highway; ‘NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: le The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey’to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which'may be more particularly described as follows: (a) All that portion of road shown dedicated on registered plan 2294 in"District Lot 466, Group 1, New Westminster District, having an area of 0.179 acres and shown within the green outline on a by-law plan sworn by W.E. Frith, B.C.L.S., and dated the 9th day of August, 1977, a copy of which is attached hereto All that portion of road shown dedicated on registered plan 35033 in District Lot 466, Group 1, New Westminster District, having an area of 0.035 acres and shown within the green outline on a by-law pian sworn by W.E. Frith, B.C.L.S., and dated the 9th day of August, 1977, a copy of which is attached hereto at or for the price or sum of Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Eighty-two Dollars, Seventy~six Cents ($13,982.76) and in exchange for that certain parcel or tract of land described in the next Section hereof,
