Based on the results of the water sample analyses and the biological examination, no definite cause of death can be established. ATi one can surmise is that the creek experienced a sudden shock leading of @ toxic substance. Concerning this matter, this Department is keeping a close surveillance over the creek in order to detect any changes in its water quality. Any future findings will be forwarded to you. The gills appeared normal. Stomach contents fron two of the estthroat trout contained Lsopode (Onisceidea), wyrispods, wmall gastropods, a2 oligochaste, and esverel diptera larvae.
