RECOMMENDATION ;
That Council give First Two Readings to Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2927.

BACKGROUND:

At the August 22, 1994 Council meeting, Firat Iwo Readings of Zoning
Amendment Bylaw 2927, to rezone the subject property at 1250 Pitt River Road.
from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential) was deferred

for additional background material.

This application ia to allow the subdivision of the eubject property into
2 lots. A Development Variance Permit pertaining to the proposed subdivision
4s also required and will be the subject of another report on this agenda. .

SEQUENCE OF APPLICATION EVENTS::

March 3,°1994s A rezoning application is submitted to rezone 1250 Pitt
River Road to permit the subdivision as shown in the

attached Appendix I.

April 11, 1994: Application is defeated by Council.

May 9, 1994: Council passes a resolution to waive six month time limit
for re-application after considering an appeal by the
property owners. “

May 11, 1994: Applicant re~applies for Rezoning Application.

June 13, 19943 Council gives approval in principle to the rezoning |
| application on the basia of the Director of Planning's June
