REAL PROPERTY FOR SALE BY TENDER

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam invites tenders for the
purchase of the undernoted properties:

Lot "F" (except Plans 17598 and 19890), District Lots 174 and 289,
Group One, Plan 5086, New Westminster District.

This property is located at 2401 Hawthorne Avenue and is 1.66 acres in
size. The property is presently zoned A-l (Agricultural) and is in the
Agricultural Land Reserve.

Tenders must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the
outside "Tender for 2401 Hawthorne Avenue Property” and addressed to:

aod be in his hands by 12:00 o'clock noon, Thursday, Jume 21st, 1990. Any
tender received after this time will be returned unopened as will all tenders
inadvertently opened before the closing time as a result of not beiag
adequately marked on the outside of the sealed envelope as required.

Terms of Sale

l. a.) A certified cheque in the amount of $5,000.00 must accompany
each tender as a deposit and each tender will be open for
acceptance by the Council for a period of 30 days.

Upon a tender being accepted by the Council a further
installment of $50,000.00 must be paid to the City Clerk by
certified cheque by the successful tenderer within five days
of receipt of notice of acceptance of the tender or the
deposit will be forfeited.

The balance of the offered price must be paid by the
successful tenderer within 30 days or as soon thereafter as
requested or the deposit will be forfeited.

The certified cheques of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned
no later than 30 days after the closing time specified above. Unlcss
a tender specifies that in the event the tender is unsuccessful the
cheque is to be held for personal pickup from the City Hall ordinary
mail wili be used for return. .

No real estate commission of any kind whatsoever will be paid by the
city.
