V3C 2A8. Dear Sirs: Re: Electrical Power Supply to Drainage Pump Stations On behalf of Council, I have been requested to write to you with regard to the B.c. Hydre Rate Schedule being charged for the supply of Electrical Power to Drainage Pumping Stations. The B.C. Hydro 1200 Rate Schedule contains provision for a minimum monthly charge. This charge is the greater of $11.09 Per Month or "50% of the highest maximum demand charge bi period during the immediately prec (On—peak periad is defined as 1 November in any year to 31 March of the following year.) It is Council’s contention that for the purpose of Operating Drainage Pumping Stations, billing should be based on the actual metered demand for each month. The reason for writing at this time, is to inquire if your Municipality has ever had occasion to query this method of billing and to determine if other efforts are being made to have B.C. Hydro revise the Minimum Demand Billing Policy.
