WHEREAS Section 54A of the Municipal Act provides that the Countil may by By-law provide for the establishment of one or more Mobile Polls for the purpose of attending at such locations as inay be specified in the By-law and may in such by-law specity the places at which such poll will attend and the hours during which the poll will be open at each place; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the Gity of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled. enacts as follows: Lee At all elections, including submissions to the electors, the Returning Officer shall, on the day the poll is held, establish one Mabile Poll staffed by a Deputy Returning Officer and such number of Poll Clerks or other election personnel as may be determined by the Returning Officer. , 2. The Mobile Poll so established shall attend at the places hereinafter described and shall be open during the hours hereinafter specified: (a) At some convenient location at the Senior Citizens’ housing facility known as "Dogwood Manor" located at 3155 Seymour Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C. from 8:00 o'clock in the forenoon until 12:00 o'clock noon, (b}) At some convenient location in Hawthorne Lodge, 2111 Hawthorne Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. from 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon until 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon. 3. Immediately upon the final closing of the Poll at the last location hereinbefore specified the Deputy Returning Officer in charge of the Mobile Poll shall return all ballot boxes, ballot papers, and other ” election paraphernalia to the Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. and upon closing of the regular polls shall then and there open the ballot boxes in the presence of such agents (Le any) of the candidates as may be present, count the votes and perform the other necessary functions in the prescribed manner, and deciare the result of the Poll at the Mobile Poll. 4, This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Mobile Poll Establishment By-law, 1975, No. 1396".
