Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay questioned the school situation in the area and His Worship the Mayor and Alderman Laking advised that to the best of their knowledge additions to the schools in the area were already authorized. Alderman Traboulay inquired whether this particular rezoning was an isolated instance or whether other applications, particularly from Nu-West Developments Ltd. could be expected. Alderman Thompson stated that Nu-West Developments Ltd. had appeared before the Land Use Committee and that a recommendation would be forthcoming in due course.
