ifi. Class 3 Vehicle - a motor vehicle Licenced under the

Motor Vehicle Act or Department of Commercial Transport _

Act for a gross vehicle weight of more than 10,000 pounds

that is required to display a municipal licence plate

issued in accordance with the provisions of Division (2)

of Part X of the Municipal Act and By~law No. 770 of The

Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam being the “City

of Port Coquitlam Commercial Vehicle Licencing By-law, 1964".
No person shall use ox have present on a4 highway within the City a
vehicle or combination of-vehicles whose operation wuld, as to the
width, length, and height of the vehicle and the width, length,
height, fastenings and distribution of its load, be unlawful on
that portion of arterial highway known as Highway Ne. 7 (Lougheed

Highway) of the Province of British Columbia passing throug the City.

(a) Yo person shall use or. have present on a highway a vehicle
unless ie is so constructed or leaded as to prevent any of
ite load from dropping, sifting, leaking, or otherwise
escaping therefrom, but sand may be dropped for the purpose

-of securiuy teaction, and water ‘or other substance may be

sprinkled on a roadway in cleaning or maintaining the roadway.
(b) No person shall use or have Present on a highway e vehicle with
any load unlese the load and any covering thereon is securely
fastened so as to prevent the covering or load from becoming
loose, detached, or in any manner hazardous to ether users

of the highway.

Subject to the provisions of this By-law and the Motor Vehicle Act
(a) @ Class 1 Vehicle may he used or be present on any highway in

the City.

(b) Class 2 Vehicle way be used or be present on any highway in

the City.

subject to the provisions of Section 605 « Class 3 Vehicle may

only be used cv be present on the following highways or portion

of highways:

id. On that portion of Mary Hill Road lying between Kingaway

Avenue and the Fraser River.

di. On Kingsway Avenue. ‘

444. On that portion of. Trenton Street lying between Kingsway
Avenue and Highway No. 7 (Lougheed Highway).
On that portion of McLean Avenue lying between Kingeway

Avenue and Pitt River Road.
