Canada its employees, agents and servants, and the Band shall continue to have the full use and benefit of the Reserve, including the Permit Area, subject only to the Maintenance Permit. Except with the prior written consent of Port Coquitlam, neither the Band ne Canada shall do or knowingly permit others to do aay of the following: (a) any act or thing which might interfere with or injure the Dyke or any of any of it, or which might create or increase any hazard to persons 4 property, (b) make, place, erect, operate, use or maintain in the Permit Area any building, structure, foundation, pavement, excavation, well, tree, pile o material, obstruction, equipment, thing, or inflammable substance whi¢h might: interfere with or endanger the Dyke or the installation, maintenance, repair, operation and inspection of the Dy obstruct access by Port Coquitlam to the Dyke or any p it; or create or increase any hazard to person or property. The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Maintenance Permit is without prejudice to any other rights or interests which any person may have in relat to the Reserve. INDIAN ACT This Maintenance Permit shall be subject to the Indian Act and regulations thereunder, all as amended or replaced from time to time.
