That Bylaw No. 2642 be amended to increase the funding for Reeve Park cons:.:uction to a
total of three million dollars.

From the Recreation Manager/Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation, September 30th,
1993 regarding Fieldhouse/Service Building - (Phase 1-C).

That Council approve the recommendation that the tender for Phase 1-C construction of a
fieldhouse/service Wuilding be awarded to Westport Construction Ltd. in the amount of
$353,750.00.

Carried.

NEW BUSINESS:

Councillor Gordon presented a letter from UBCM regarding information about Group
Insurance for elected officials.

Moved by Councillor Gordon:
Seconded by Councillor Thompson:

That a letter be sent to UBCM informing them that City Council is opposed to Group Life
Insnrance for elected officials, and do not wish to receive any more information on the subject.

Carried.

and Keryluk voted against the resolution.
