RCH Moved by Alderman Muldoon: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett: That Council endorse the Resolution of the Old Age Pensioners’ Organization, Branch No. 21, January 20th, 1982 to urge the Provincial Government to activate the body scanner which is presently in existence in the Royal Columbian Hospital. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the report of the Finance Committee, January 27th, 1982 being a Statement of Accounts Payable in the amount of $188,740.77, be approved. Carried. 7 From the City Engineer, January 28th, 1982 regarding the engineering ‘City Eng., Jan. 28/82 requirements for Rezoning Application, R#2-81 — Metro Motors. re R#2-81, (Metro Moved by Alderman Laking: Motors) Seconded by Alderman Wright: That with reference to the engineering requirements under Rez sning Application, R#2-81 - Metro Motors ~ the sum of $10,000.00 be placed in the Provisional Budget for cost sharing of 29% of the road and curb on Hastings Street. Carried. Alderman Muldoon voted against the resolution. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution Alderman Muldoon advised that the applicant, Mr. G. McKone, President of Metro Motors, had requested that the Council's decision regarding the engineering requirements be deferred for two weeks. Moved by Alderman Muldoon: Seconded by “lderman Gates: That Council's decision on the engineering requirements under Rezoning Application, R#2-81 - Metro Motors - be deferred until February 15th, 1982, Defeated, Aluerman Muldoon voted in favour of the resolution.
