improving court Procedures so that less cvertime would be spent by policemen
awaiting the variety of court cases which are continually being postponed for
one reason or another: In Kamloops where this has been in operation for some months
the system has improved from a low of 30% to 60% in this regard; and they are
hiring 8 more full time people in the Province to try and move the court Procedures
along at a much faster pace,

Mr. Williams also Pointed out that it will be his responsibility along with the
other Provincial Attorney General's to press the Federal Government on the various
areas of Policing that in their estimation is a Federal responsibility, such as
the narcotic problem which is very costly to Municipalities.
