THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM REPORT JAN 17 1977 TO: Mayor and Council January 14th, 1977 FROM: Building & Protection Committee Report from the Building & Protection Committee meeting held Friday, January 7th, 1977 at 4:00 p.m. IN ATTENDANCE: Alderman M.A. Thompson, Chairman Alderman E.W. Mabbett, Deputy Chairman V.G. Borch, P. Eng., City Engineer. George Street A request has been received by the resident living at 2311 St. George Street to have the street name changed. Apparently there is an identical address in Port Moody and all the resident's mail has been directed to the Port Moody address. The resident claims he has been unable to have the situation straightened up. In view of this resident's difficulties, and in view of the fact that we avoid identical street names with our adjacent municipalities the Committee recommends that St. George Street be renamed to Rowland Street. There are no other addresses presently on St. George Street. Respectfully submitted.
