-2- Notwithstanding any other provisions of this By~law, no building or part thereof shall be constructed, reconstructed, moved or extended, nor shall any mobile home or unit, modular home or structure be located: (1) with the underside of the floor system of any area used , for habitation, business, or storage of goods damageable by floodwaters, or in’ the case of a mobile home or unit the ground level on which it is located, lower than two (2) feet, above the defined one in two hundred .(200)~year flood level for the Fraser, Pitt and Coquitiam Rivers, nor lower than five (5} feet above the natural boundary of any other nearby watercourse, whichever elevation is the higher. within one hundred (100) feet of the natural boundary of- the Pitt, Fraser and Coquitlam Rivers, nor within fifty (50) feet of the natural boundary of any other nearby watercourse. If landfill is used to achieve the required elevation, no portion of the landfill slope shall be closer than the above distance(s) from the natural boundary, and the face of the landfill slope must be adequately protected. against erosion from floodwaters. Provided, that with the approval of the Deputy Minister of the Environment, or his designate, these requirements may be reduced." 2.
