Ingram of School District #43 and the developers of the opened the meeting by advising the audience of the nature of the developments. THE CGRPORATION GF THE CITY OF PGRT COQUITLAM -2- Major points expressed by the audience relating to the proposed developments are as follows: Several residents in the Robertson Avenue area expressed fear that their children presently going to James Park School, might have to go to another school as 2 result of boundary adjustrents to school catchment areas, However, they oecame satisfied after Mr. Ingcam's response to the effect that it would be unlikely in view of the close proximity of Robertson Avenue area to Jazes Park School. Present sublic park facilitles were felt inadequate for the area, Concern was expressed on the effect of traffic on Westminster Avenue as a result of the proposed developrents. The need for a walkway linking Revertson Avenue area and Vestrinster Avenue was expressed. No specific objection was expressed against the density or the housing forn of the two proposed developments. The meeting was adjourned, at 9:00-p.m. L. Lee Planning Officer.
