Re: Kiwanis Club Walkathon ~ May 16, 1976

At the Council Meeting held April 20, 1976, the members: cf the Council of
the City of Port Moody indicated their willingness to participate in the
above annual walkathon.

In addition, the following resolution was passed:

"THAT the City of Port Moody challenge the City
of Port Coquitlam and the District of Coquitlam
as to which municipality will raise the most
pledges for this endeavour AND THAT the loser be
obliged to provide refreshments immediately
following the event".

We would appreciate being advised as to whether the members of your Council
will accept the above challenge...
