Intensified Ground and Biological Mosquito Control -

Proposed Programme for 1972,

With reference to the attached letter dated September 26th, 1972
from Mr. RJ. Palmer, Vector Control Officer, Simon Fraser Health Unit con-
cerning the above noted subject this will advise that at the regular Council
Committee meeting held on January 31st, 1972 the following recommendation was

made:

"That the support and endorsation of the Corporation of the City of
Port Coquitlam be extended to §.P.E.C. in connection with their application
for an Opportunity for Youth grant from the Federal Government to conduct an
intensified ground control programme for mosquito control during 1972 rather

than relying on aerial spray."
