Deans claim — rec. hockey : ‘The Houston Deans seem to: have claimed ownership of the annual Terrace North Coast Wranglers men’s rec hockey tournament. - Deans won. the sixth annual event: for the fourth straight year, counting five wins and outscoring their opposition 37-7. . Deans went three-and-zero in the preliminary round-robin portion. In‘ placing first in their - division, they downed Kitimat’s Ocelot Oilers 8-4, beat the host Wranglers 7-1. and knocked off Stewart 12-0. Their fourth win was a 64! semi-final victory over Kitimat Tricks. In the championship game, they took a 3-0 lead over Kitimat Capitals and added an open-net. marker in the final minute for a 4-1 triumph. _ Capitals had won their semi- final 5-2 over Terrace’s Norm’s Auto Refinishing.
