Seconded by Councillor Stewart: That the Municipal Clerk be instructed to prepare a Bylaw to amend "Development Management Bylaw, 1987, No. 2242" to incorporate the foliowing change to Section 6 (i): "Schools, Public or Private: (i) Kindergarten, Elementary 1 for each 10 Students and Middle High Schools (ii) Secondary High Schools Staff and Visitors 1 for each 10 Students Student Parking 1 foreach 8 Students" Carried. From the Director of Planning, February 16th, 1994 regarding Rezoning Application No. 112/93 and Development Permit Application No. 112/93 for 1610 and 1622 Grant Avenue. That Rezoning Application No. 111/93 for 1610 and 1622 Grant Avenue be approved to proceed for rezoning from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RM-4 (Apartment) under Section 963 of the Municipal Act Subject to: a. Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Director of Planning. b. Satisfaction of Engineering Department requirements. c. Submission of landscaping plans to the satisfaction of the Parks and Recreation Department. Consolidation of the properties into one lot. Issuance of a Development Permit. ‘That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit 112/93; and That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the document when completed subject to the conditions noted above. Carried. Councillors Gordon and Keryluk voted against the resolution.
