January 18, 1993/014 A Public Hearing pursuant to Section 956 of the Municipal Act was held prior to the Council Meeting of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, BC on Monday, January 18th, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. Mayor L.M. Traboulay and Councillors M.D. Gates, M.J. Gordon, J.J. Keryluk, R.H. .Talbot, M.A. Thompson, and M.R. Wright were in attendance. Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk S. Rauh, Director of Planning C.R. Felip, and Director of Building Permits & Inspections, J.D. Shardiow. PUBLIC HEARING: Mayor Traboulay advised the following proposed Bylaws would now be considered: Bylaw No. 2747 To create a new M-4 (Business Industrial Park) zone which would permit property to be used for low impact industrial, warehouse retail and large office uses and to provide regulations for Uses Permitted, Height of Buildings, Floor Area Ratio, Lot Coverage, Yard Requirements, Off-Street Parking, Off-Street Loading, Design and Appearance, and Landscaping. No one was present to speak regarding the preposed zoning text amendment. vilaw 4 To permit the rezoning of the property to enable the development of a Light Industrial Park and Convenience Centre (Home and Business Centre). The property is located at 1071, 1191, 1211 Lougheed and 1192 Dominion. Sandy McDougall, The Tri-City News, inquired as to when Dominion Avenue will be closed to traffic and the Ottawa/Lougheed intersection opened. Chris Phillips, Developer, answered that he hoped to proceed as soon as possible. John Seager, 1185 Dominion, would like assurances that Ottawa will be open before any major work is done in the area so that heavy traffic will not be put on to Domirion.
