At the extreme west end of the hotel adjacent to St. Michael Street are
a set of stairs leading to the parking lot. I don't see that these
stairs have a function in this location ag they would only offer a
Criminal easy uncontrolled entry and exit to che underground garage.
Although they are installed as a convenience to the customer I don't
feel they would be utilized as they are intended. The stairs near
Lougheed Hwy. in front of the Beer and Wine Store would also fall under

the same category.

It would be difficult to secure the underground parking garage in this
instance so it is my recommendation that vandal proof luminaires be used
and that the garage be well lit.
