SUBJECT: Annual Christmas Tree Burn
(Protective Services Comnittee Meeting, December 10, 1991)

RECOMMENDATION:

1. That the Fire Fighters Union be permitted to conduct their annual tree
burn by Council resolution.

2. That the Fire Prevention Bylaw No. 2578 be amended to allow the tree
burn as an annual event.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

The Comaittee evaluated the concerms presented to Council regarding a tree
burn. The recommendation. was brought forward after considerable deliberation
and a aplit vate by the Aldermen on the Committee.
