THE. COMMISSIONER OF MUNICIPAL SUPERANNUATION appointed
under the provisions of the "Municipal Superannuation Act",
(hereinafter referred to as "the Commissioner" )

OF THE FIRST PART

THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM, an

employer within the meaning of the "Municipal Superannuation

Act", (hereinafter referred to as "the employer" )

WHEREAS under the provisions of subsection (2) of section & of the

Murricipal Superanmation Act, an employer to whom this Act applies mays if the

approval of the Provincial Secretary has been obtained, enter into an agreement

| with the Commissioner whereby the superannuation alLowance for any employee, or

group of employees, or former employees y may be increased in such amount and with .

such modifications as are set forth in the agreement; ‘and .
"WHEREAS the Provincial Secretary has given his approval;

= NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that the superannuation allowance -

of the ‘employees of the employer as described in Schedule "A" of this: agreenent. .

shall be increased in the following manner :—

Le Commencing on the ninth day of September; 197), the employer shall

‘pay monthly to the Commissioner two per centum of the salaries or wages of the
employees defined in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
. Be . Commencing on the ninth day of September, 1974, the employer shall :
cause to be deducted from the salaries or wages of the employees defined in
Schedule "A" attached hereto, two’ per centum of their salaries or wages.
3-6 The amounts contributed pursuant to clauses 1 and 2 shall be in
addition to the contributions required to be made by the employer and employee;
pursuant to any other provisions of the Municipal Superannuation Act. The amounts
contributed pursuant to clauses 1 and 2 shall be placed in the Municipal Super-
anuation Fund and recorded in the Retirement Annuity Account. ,
he When a refund is payable to, or on behalf of, an employee under
the Municipal Superannuation Act, tne amount contributed by the employer on his

behalf under this agreement shall be refunded by the Commissioner to the employer.
