NEW BUSINESS: Alderman Laking referred to a statement he said was made at the Council meeting last week that the Recreation Department was approximately $70,000.00 over-budget, and still had three months to go. Alderman Laking advised this is incorrect, there being some $140,000.00 still in the budget, plus transfers from other funds to be made to it and thus will be well within the amount budgeted for the year; however, he advised that the Parks Maintenance will be over-budget.
