NOV 2 7 1972 The Municipal Council of The Corporation of tho City of Port Coguitias, in open meeting assexbled, enacts as follows: 1. Except as hereinafter provided, no person shall discharge any firearn, including air guns, air rifles, air pistols, and spring guns, within the Corporate linits of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam. kL The provisions of this By-law shall not apply to: (a) Any person using firearms for the protection of his domestic animals. {b) Any menbor of any bona fide shooting club, while shooting at any range constituted for and used only for the practice of target shooting, (c) Any menler of any military unit in or upon the range of such military unit provided and used for the purpose of drill or training. (d) Any peace officer acting in the execution of his duties. 3. (a) By-law No. 864 of the City cited as the "City of Port Coquitlam Firearm Regulations By~law No. 864, 1967" ia repealed. (b) By-law Xo, 1206 of the City cited as the "City of Port Coquitiex Firearm Regulations By-law No. 864, 1967, Amendment By~law, 1972, No. 1206" is repealed, 4. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Port Coquitlam Firearms Prohibition By-law, 1972, No. 1220", Read a first tine by the Municipal Council thie Tweaty~seventh day of Novenbder, 1972.
