81 years of age. Herb was born
on May 6, 1919 in Goldscheuer,
Germany and emigrated te
Canada with his parents and
brother Kurt In 1929. The Grindler
family moved from Maldstene,
Sask, to the Ckanagan in 1931
and to Osoyoos in 1934. He
married Win King on Dec. 5,
1936 and they moved north to
Terrace In 1963. They retired to
Osoyoos In Saptamber 1977. Ha
is survived by his wife Win;
daughters Maureen (Dave)
Karran of Armstrong, Denise
Coulter of Terrace: son Michael
(Vonl) of Stevesion; brother Kurt
(Amis) of Osoyoos; grandchildren
Cheryl, Brad (Cathle), Greg,
Michelle (Blake), Scott (Shari),
Shawn and Jodi; great-grand-

Monty is survived by his loving
wife Marguerite of Prince George,
sons Greg of Cranbrook and
Darren of Lacombe, Alberta,
mother Muriel of Oxford, Nova
Scolla, brothers Carl and Peter of
Cranbrook, brother Ray of Truro,
Nova Scotia, sister Malba of
Terrace, B.C., 5 grandchildren,
several nisces, nephews and
endless frlends.

Monty was predeceased by his
father, Russell F. Colborne in

Prince George City Cemetary.
