Request for Grant -
Port Coquitlam Senior Secondary School.

RECOMMENDATION:

That Council not approve a grant to Port Coquitlam Senior Secondary School
to aid in the cost of sending participants to the World Finals of ‘Olympics

of the Mind’.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Council has a long standing no grant policy.

Section 269(h) of the Municipal Act would permit this type of grant provided
two-thirds of Council is in favour.
