BY-LAW NO. 12720

A By-law to prohibit the discharge of firearms within the Corporate

limites of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlan.

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of tha City of Port
Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
i. Except as hereinafter provided, no person shall discharge any fireara,
including air guns, air rifles, air piatels, and spring guns, within the
Corporate linits of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlan.
2. The provisions of this By-law shall not apply to:
(a) Any person using firearms for the protection of his are ere a
" (b) Any member of any bona fide shooting club, while shooting at any
range consticuted for and used only for the practice of target
shooting.

(ce) Any menber of any military unic in or upon the range of auch military

unit provided and used for the purpose of drill or training.

(d) Any peace officer acting in the execution of his duties.

a Be (a) By-law No. 864 of the City cited as the “City of Port Coquitlam
Firearm Regulaticns By-law No. 864, 1967" is repealed.

(b) By-law No. 1206 of the City cited as the “City of Port Coquitlam
Firearm Regulations By-lav No. 864, 1967, Amendusent By-law, 1972, No. 1206"
de repealed.

4. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of Port

Coquitian Firearms Prohibition By~lav, 1972, No. 1220".
