Association of British Columbia, will be held on April 30 - May 2, 1979, at the Empress Hotel, in Victoria, B.C. The theme of the conference is "Continuing Education" In keeping with this theme certification exams for Building Inspectors are being scheduled for Sunday, April 29, 1979, the day befo: commencement of the conference. The program also features, speakers from the Nationai Research Council and the Division of Building Research on the forthcoming 1980 edition of the National Building Code. A full day of workshop is also scheduled to discuss building code interpretation. Other topics include plumbing system principles, steel arch buildings, and wood construction. Because of the Victoria lecation, we are also expecting to hear from the Minstry of Deregulation and other Ministries involved with the regulation of buildings. The registration fee is $70.00 for delegates and $25.00 for ladies. Registration forms have been sent to all members.
