4. In case a poll as aforesaid is required, then a mobile poll shall
be established at the places and during the times specified by the
"Mobile Poll Establishment By-law, 1975, No. 1396"; namely, at some
convenient location at the Senior Citizens' housing facility known as
"Dogwood Manor" located at 3155 Seymour Street, from 8 o'clock in the
forenoon until 12 o'clock noon and at some convenient location in Hawthorne
Lodge, 2111 Hawthorne Avenue, from 1 o'clock in the afternoon until 5
o'clock in the afternoon, on November 15, 1975.
5. In case a poll as aforesaid is required, then an advanced poll will
be held at the place and during the time specified by the "Advanced Poll
By-law, 1969, No. 956"; namely, at the Port Coquitlam City Hall from 1
o'clock in the afternoon until 8 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday,
November 7th, 1975 and from 9 o'clock in the forenoon until 5 o'clock
the afternoon on Monday to Friday, inclusive, November 10th to 14th,
1975, EXCEPT Tuesday, November lith, 1975, Remembrance Day.
6. The power to appoint Deputy Returning Officers to preside at the
respective polling places is hereby delegated to the Returning Officer

appointed herein. Carried.

That By-law No. 1394 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted,
Carried.
Prior to passage of the resolution quoted above, a discussion

ensued concerning By-law No. 1394 proposed to authorize the closing of a

dane between McLean Avenue and Marshall Avenue East off Brown Street and

the lane it intersects to the rear of property West off Ryan Street, and

Alderman Ranger inquired how the land value thereof would be determined.

The City Administrator advised that the value of the land comprising the
