support to declare the Province of British Columbia a Nuclear Weapons
Free Zone.

Seconded by Aiderman Keryluk:

That The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam support the City

of Vancouver's motion requesting that British Columbia be deciared a

Nuclear Weapons Free Zone; that a National referendum be held on

Testing of the Crulse Missile in Canada; and, Declaration of Canada as
a Nuclear Weapons Free Zone.

Carried.

That The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam support the
Village of Belcarra's resolution attached to their tetter dated June
19th, 1984 regarding classifying Bedwell Bay Road a secondary highway.

property taxes at 2050 Mary HI!! Road be walved.

That the request from the New View Society, June 12th, 1984 that
the City of Port Coquitlam waive the property taxes at 2050 Mary Hil
Road, be denied.

Carried.

Prior to the question being calied on the foregoing resolution
Alderman Kery!uk suggested that the New View Society's request be
referred back to the Administration Committee.
