MP. demands withdrawal of

U.S. troops from Britain

Closing of the United States
embassy and consulates and
withdrawal of all U.S. armed
forces from Britain is demanded
in a resolution introduced in the
House of Commons by S. O.
Davies, Labor MP. .

Davies said he based his de-
mand “on the widespread re
vulsion of feeling against the
United States government in
this country.”

How deep this feeling runs has
been demonstrated during the
fight to save the Rosenbergs,
whose execution has profoundly
shocked the British people. Five
thousand attended a memorial
service for the Rosenbergs in
