Trades Fair winners get second honeymoon TERRACE — Local Trades Fair winners are rejoicing over an unex- pected opportunity to visit Expo. by Sherry Halfyard Gordon and Marlene Stockkeland will be heading off to Expo in September after hearing of their win at the Ter- race and District Jaycees’ 15th annual Trades Fair, April 25 to 27. The couple were the recipients of hotel ac- commodations and a three-day Expo pass, donated to the Trades — Fair by Terrace Travel. The Stockkelands and their three children are new residents to Terrace. They arrived from Revelstoke April 19th. We weren’t planning on going to Expo, but we will certainly be going now, said Marlene. She added they will leave their children behind, and treat Expo as a ‘se- cond honeymoon’.
