SUBJECT: Development Permit No. 6/85
Hawthorne Lodge

RECOMMENDATION: That City Counc! | adopt the foltowl ng
resolution to vary L.U.C. No.2 Bylaw 1130
governing Hawthorne Lodge to permit
construction of a recreation wing.

WHEREAS the Permittee wishes to commence a
development on the Lands hereln defined;

ANO WHEREAS the Parmittee has made
application for a Development Permit tn

regard to the Lands;

AND WHEREAS the Muntctpai Act R.$.8.C. 1979,
C.290 provides that Ina Development Permit
certain mattars may be varled or supplemented
in the manner speci tled thereln;

NOW THEREFORE the Councl!! of the City hereby
Issues a Development Permit In respect of ALL
AND SINGULAR that certaltn parcel of tand
situate In Port Coquitlam, British Columbia,
which Is more particularly described as:

Lot 110, O.L. 289, Grp. 1, Plan 40622.

COMMENTS:

1. This application Is belng submitted to amend the hawthorne
Lodge Land Use Contract so that an addition can be

constructed,

The purpose of the proposed wing Is to provide a recreation
centre for Senior Citizens assoclated with the Lodge.

In view of the benefit of this facllity to the commun! ty
and Its architectural flit with the existing bullding,
approval of the resolution ts belng recommended.
