Two house fires - $75,000 damage to a home and contents, cause

unknown and. under investigation by the R.C.M.P., Fire Marshal's

Office and insurance investigators. $460 to a chesterfield caused by a
lighted cigarette when a man fell asleep while smoking. Still having

a large number of nuisance fires and students setting off fire

alarms and smoke detectots in the senior schools.

46 inhalator calls. 28 home emergencies consisting of
heart attacks, strokes, epileptic seizures, over indulgence in
alchol, falls causing injuries and cut hand from a power saw. 10
motor vehicle accidents, girl hit by.a car, 4 injuries from sports
events and 3 overdoses.
