Mabbett Alderman G.R. Laking K.J. Stinson Respectfully submitted. Land Sales. Item i Re: Property Extension of 2657 Shaughnessy Street. Comments: A request to purchase City lands to allow the applicant to square off “the property at 2657 Shaughnessy Street has been looked at. The City Assessor prepared a small report which is attached while the plan attached out~ lines the practical alignment. The total property which should be considered is approximately 421 sq. ft. and has a value of $5.50 per sq. ft. The recommended selling price is $2,300.00 and an agreement to guarantee access from the City. Recomnendation: The Committee recommends an upset price of $2,300.00 be established and that the property be offered for sale subject to consolidation to the adjacent property and that an agreement providing for loading and parking be drawn up. Item Ii Re: Imperial Road Exchanre. Comments: A preplanning scheme has been prepared which shows cancellation of 15' of lane benefiting the actual subdivision and a 20' difference in the width of Imperial Street. The road was originally gazetted aa an 80' right-of-way while the proposed road as shown as 60' width. The lane situation is somewhat different as the properties facing Robertson will receive 15' of the 30‘ gazetted lane while B.C. Investors are to receive the other 15'. The lane was purposely widen from 20' to 30' in order to handle a large volume of storm water which runs parallel to Robertson. As a condition of subdivision, B.C. Investors will enclose this large open ditch, providing a city saving in the installation of this storm trunk line, The road area received by B.C. Investors is 24,500 sq. ft. while the lane area is 13,500 sq. fe. It was suggested ts B.C. Investors that the land area received cculd be exchanged for a consolidated parcel within the proposed eubdivision for park purposes. 38.C. Investors has agreed aud has shown a park on the western end of the subdivision. Recommendation: The Committee recommends the road area be consolidated in the subdivision and, the said road area be provided as a consolidated parcel for park purposea and further that the lane closure be exchanged | far the necessary storm trunk services. ,
