A By-law to provide for the mailing of Notices of Public OCT 22 1979:

Hearings pursuant to Section 703 of the "Municipal Act",
| WHEREAS the Council is required by Section 703(2)(a) of the

"Municipal Act" by By-law to provide that Notice of the Hearing on any
"proposed amendment to. the Zoning By-law having the effect of rezoning an
area of the municipality from one zone to another zone must be mailed or
otherwise delivered to the owners and occupiers of all real property
within the area that is subject to the rezoning and within a distance
specified in the By-law from the area that is subject to the rezoning;
7 THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City
ef Port Coquitlan, in‘.open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
i. A‘ copy of every Notice of Public Hearing ‘required to be published
pursuant to Section 703(1) of the "Municipal Act" giving Notice of a
Nearing on any proposed amendment to the Zoning By-law having the effect
of rezoning an area of the municipality from one zone to another zone
shall be mailed or otherwise delivered by the municipal clerk not less
than three days nor more than ten days before the date of the Hearing to
the owners and occupiers of all real property

.(a) within the area that is subject to the rezoning; and

(b) within a distance of 120 m (393.7 ft.) from all boundaries

of the area that is subject to the rezoning.

2. The "Port Coquitlam Notice of Public Hearings Mailing By-law,
1973, No. 1256" and all amendments thereto are repealed.

3. This By-law may be cited for all purposes as the "Notice of

Public Hearings Mailing By-law, 1979, No. 1716".
