PART 4: OTHER PROJECTS Under the terms of the Agreement, 15% of the Program finds are allocated for other physical infrastructure projects which enhance public services and provide significant economic benefits, Municipalities will be eligible to propose projects under this category although it is not restricted to municipalities. Other third parties, including private sector entities, may be eligible to submit these types of proposals, The program will fund new or accelerated physical capital asset infrastructure projects. Private sector financing of these public-purpose initiatives will be encouraged where it is apparent that the spirit of the agreement, to renew and enhance the quality of British Columbia's infrastructure that is instrumental in the provision of public services, takes precedence over simply improving the financial circumstances of any entity, Private sector contributions will normally be credited to the local partner's share to the extent that they add to the local partner's equity. The Program criteria and requirements described in Part | of this guide are applicable. In assessing such projects, the Management Committee will give preference to proposals that meet most or all of the criteria set out in Schedule 1.
