A Bylaw to authorize the Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam to dispose of portions of dedicated road in
exchange for a portion of land to be dedicated as road.

W the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling portions of
road shown dedicated in the City of Port Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia;

" 249 the Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 2 of this Bylaw has agreed
to convey land to the City in exchange so that it may be established as an addition to the roads in
the City;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British
Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a highway in
exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening,
straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in
open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey [0 the
Registered Owner of the lands described in the next Section hereof:

4 2,411 m? portion of road in District Lots 168 and 169, Group 1, dedicated by Plan 2261,
identified as Parcel "A" and shown hatched on a plan certified by Mike E. Shaw, British
Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 8th day of September, 1992;

in New Westmiuster District, at or for the price or sum of $103,808.00 and in exchange for
those certain parcels or tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to purchase of and from.
the Registered Owner thereof:

a7 m? portion of Lot "BE" (D77145), District Lots 168 and 169, Plan 2261, identified as
Parcel "B" and shown included within the heavy outline on a plan certified by Mike E.
Shaw, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 8th day of September, 1992,

in New Westminster District, at or for the price or sum of $1.00 and in exchange for those
certain parcels or tracts of land described in the preceding Section hereof.
