August 3rd, 1976 A special meeting of ‘the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on August 3rd, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. Mayor J.M. Campbell, Aldermen J.J. Keryluk, G.R. Laking, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer V.G, Borch, P.Eng., Recreation Director Janna Taylor, Planning Officer Lanson Lee, Senior Building Inspector N. Chernoff and Mrs. M.K. Warwick. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING Zoning Public Hearing-B/L#1453 (3141 Chester St) His Worship Mayor J.M. Campbell advised that a proposed By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: By-law No. 1453: To rezone Lot 44, Blocks 7 & 8, District Lot 464, Group 1, Plan 24056, from RS-1 (One Family Residential) to P-2 (Special Institutional). This property is occupied by our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church at 3141 Chester Street and the rezoning proposed will place the church in its correct zone and also permit the operation of pre- school facility on the premises. There being no one present to speak for or against the proposed rezoning, the Public Hearing concluded herewith and at 7:32 p.m. the regular meeting commenced.
