A man. who always tried to help everyone and was consistently up, will be missed by many. Norm sadly left us after a courageous and hard battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Even until he was taken to ICU, he was still “110”. Norm loved to spend time with children and really missed being Santa’s Helper this past Christmas. He will be missed by wife Paiti, his son Tyrone Cromarty and stepson Michael Blabey, his stepmother Marge Cromarty, sister Leslie Cromarty, his brother Halvor Cromarty, sister- in-law Teena Fowler and his nieces, nephews and great nephews. Norm was predeceased by his parents Howard and Thelma Cromarty and his brother William. To Dr. Hougesen of Hazelton, Dr. Bastian of Smithers, Dr. Leitch of Vancouver, Lynn Shervill RN of Smithers and the nurses and staff of Wrinch Memorial Hospital in Hazelton, we Thank you for your concern and care for Norm. Norm did not want any type of service but would like donations made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association in his memory. While Norm was going through the first stretch of Chemo, he kept a journal. One of the things he wrote really describes the man we know. “Doc said that there is talk on the street about me, little old me. All because of my high spirits, happy outlook even though I’m fighting Cancer | tried not to let it get me down. Well because of my attitude towards what-was happening, nurses and Doctors took notice..Goes to show that what we put into the world does make a difference to some people. “ We would like Thank everyone who helped us through this extremely rough time with their prayers and best wishes. The compassion you have shown us, has really made this time easier to handle. Patti Kryklywyj, Tyrone Cromarty and Michael Blabey iad
