People, who when faced with the reality of growth, were sur- prised. People, who when faced with some- thing new in their part of town, were the first to say, "No way! Not in my back yard!" On April 22 a public hearing was held and Tom Bruckal failed to attend. The public hearing attracted about 15 neighbouring ‘Tesidents and the one-sided debate drew all . the expected criticisms — additional traffic, parking problems, poor road conditions, the — safety of children.. __ A petition was filed containing 68 signa Lovstad who lives at 5012 Park Ave,, about a block from the proposed ‘apartment.
