A wedding of local interest took
Place recently in California when
Janet Elizabeth Philip, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Philip, for:
mer residents of Terrace now liv-
ing in San Jose, California, be-
came the bride of Andrew Jon
Spotswood, son of Mr. and Mrs,
Harvey Spotswood of Los Gatos
California,
The double ring ceremony was
performed in Los Gatos Calvary
Baptist Church. Dr. Blaine Bishop
officiated.

The bride chose a fillet of pearl-
ized orange blossoms to secure the
elbow-length illusion bridal veil
that complemented a wedding

lace bodice accented the empire
lines of the gown which was de-
sighed and sewn by the bride,

Red roses centered the bouquet
of white roses, carnations, and
stephanotis carried by the bride.

her friend as maid of honor while
bridesmaids duties were fulfilled
